The chair of the English language is the subdivision of the Faculty of Law and International Relations.

The Chair conducts the process of teaching the English language to the students majoring in the following:

• Law

• Country study

• International information

The Chair of the English language is also in charge of teaching English to the students of other departments of our university:

• Institute of Journalism

• Institute of Human Sciences

• Faculty of Health, Physical Education and Sports

• Faculty of History and Philosophy

• Faculty of IT and Administration

The academic staff of the Chair includes 24 people:

• 1 doctor of science, professor

• 9 PhDs

• 6 senior lecturers

The mission of the Chair is to service the general process of training professionals in various fields by forming the system of knowledge and skills of communication in English in general, academic and professional areas.

The academics of the Chair are involved in the following academic activities, such as:

• preparation of academic publications;

• holding various academic events;

• consulting and supervision of student academic activities ;

• preparation of textbooks, methodological recommendations, multimedia teaching aids and their implementation into the teaching process;

• making distance courses and their use in teaching.

• taking an active part in the events aimed at teachers, students and the community of the city of Kyiv.

• cooperating with foreign partners and international organisations, participating in international projects.
